A Shift Of Perspective

A Shift of Perspective explores the profound influence our perception has on the realities we create. It reflects on how our experiences are shaped not only by the world around us, but by the beliefs, memories, and narratives through which we choose to interpret it.

Transformation does not always require changing our circumstances, but rather changing the way we see them. Even the smallest shift in awareness can open entirely new ways of relating.

Inner Vision

Inner Vision explores the dialogue between intuition, imagination, emotion, and memory. It speaks to the courage of creating space to look within, to listen to our own truth, and to distinguish between inner wisdom and the learned behaviors, fears, and belief systems that no longer align with our authentic selves.

The work reflects the process of understanding and becoming familiar with our own inner voice; of learning to recognize it, trust it, and allow it to guide us. It is an invitation to slow down, to quiet the noise of the external world, and to reconnect with the wisdom that has always existed within us.

Belonging

Belonging explores the spaces that exist between perception and reality, self and other, memory and experience. The piece is an exploration of the relationship between the inner and outer world. How much of what we encounter in others is a reflection of ourselves? How much of what we perceive is filtered through the lens of our own experiences, fears, desires, and expectations? How much do we belong within ourselves?

Shared Vulnerability

Shared Vulnerability speaks to the courage of opening ourselves up to one another. It reflects the moment when we allow our true emotions, fears, and tenderness to be seen.

The work honors vulnerability as a bridge, a place where two inner worlds meet with trust; as the moments we dare to reveal our most fragile parts are often the ones that bring us closest together.

Underneath Our Layers

Underneath Our Layers reflects the process of looking beyond the many layers we build around ourselves. Beneath the identities, experiences, and protections we gather over time lies a deeper essence.

The work moves through layers as both shield and story: traces of memory, emotion, and transformation that shape who we are. The piece invites us to peel back and reconnect with what has always been there. It is a reminder that beneath every layer lives our most authentic self, waiting to be recognized and embraced.

Yesterday is a part of tomorrow

And always will be?

Yesterday is a part of tomorrow explores the conditioning we undergo as we grow, shaped by the people who care for us, as well as by diverse cultures, values, and languages. It raises the question of whether our origins truly align with our authentic selves and the values we hold — or aspire to hold.

Sandbox

who do you want to be when you grow up?
Sandbox draws inspiration from the vast array of opportunities available to us.
It plays with both meanings of the word “sandbox“—a literal box of sand and a
metaphorical space for testing, experimenting, and exploring different possibilities.
Also? An invitation to embrace courage –

Who are the monsters underneath my bed?

let me not look for just another moment before I‘ll stand up
and fight them –

Who are the monsters underneath my bed? delves into the
societal horrors — the -isms and -phobias — that pervade
our world. Is it truly acceptable to turn a blind eye? Or should
we not, instead, prioritize the fight, stand strong, and unite for
a world where there are fewer monsters lurking beneath our
beds?

To love and to be loved

to breathe.

„To love and to be loved“ is inspired by the fact that especially
as newborns, humans need love and attention as a form
of survival. It is a call for more love in our world, more love to
oneself, more love towards or friends and (chosen) families
and more love to the stranger crossing the street, passing a
smile.

Hidden Memories

just too much.

„Hidden Memories“ talks about how as a natural protection
mechanism of our bodies and minds we forget some memories
in order to shield us and our being. deeply hidden, they
only rise up when gently asked, harshly triggered or never at
all.

Activiley bringing up these past experiences, there is a possibility
to look at these memories and make peace with them,
healing ourselves. Even if we can not consciosly remember,
body and soul always keep the score of all our experiences
… and the ones of our ancestors.

The Sacrifice? Authenticity.

The answer? Finding it out.

The sacrifice? Authenticity is inspired by the words of Alexander
Leon.

„Queer People don‘t grow up as ourselves.
We grow up playing a version of ourselves that sacrifices authenticity
to minimize humiliation and prejudice. The massive
task of our adult lives is to unpick which parts of ourselves are
truly us, and which parts were created to protect us.“
– Alexander Leon
