The idyllic fantasy of childhood: Have we created this narrative to protect our
nostalgia and ultimately ourselves?

The exhibition questions this idealized fantasy and opens up a dialogue between past and present. It allows viewers to connect not only to their own history but also invites them to see different perspectives and contrasting narratives of the idealized image of childhood, juxtaposed with real experiences and stories.

Janssen, Kluth, and Osuna present multidisciplinary works that encourage viewers to look back and closely examine memories that, no matter where we are, will forever continue to pursue us.
