2024 Mired in Bloom Group Show at Speedy Gallery, Los Angeles (USA)

“Mired in Bloom“ features the works from four women artists – Vivien Chung, Virginia Deaver, Magdalena Kluth and Allison Lu Wang. These artists explore contemporary themes of femininity, sexuality, and the intimate connection between women and nature.
Each artist employs a unique style, ranging from innocent floral motifs to abstract forms and uncanny, figurative imagery, highlighting the often surreal and bizarre realities women continue to face in today’s world. By weaving together elements of whimsy and intimacy with emotion, the viewer is invited to reflect on the influence women possess in the world.

“Mired in Bloom” poses questions about closeness and the possibility of a more enlightened, perceived reality for all.
